The week of Art and Folklore with Fagiolina Arsolana Festival takes place in August / September. It is an ancient variety of bean escaped from approval of commercial crops. The credit goes to a farmer, Luigi Di Marcotullio who for years has kept alive this legume by growing it in his garden. This is a real genetic treasure as defined by the researchers of Cnr Porano. The beans are white with a round shape. Its delicate pasta is easily digestible.
